On February 24 and 25, 2022, Deposit Insurance of Vietnam (DIV) attended the Round Table organized by the Deposit Insurance Corporation of Japan (DICJ) and the International Association of Deposit Insurers (IADI) titled "Synergizing Multifaceted Regional and Global Perspectives". On this occasion, DICJ also celebrated its 50th anniversary virtually due to the new outbreak of Covid-19's variations.

Since 2006, the Round Table has been held annually by DICJ to create a forum for exchanging opinions on the environment of the banking and financial system and the deposit insurance operations among the deposit insurance organizations. This year, the theme focused on sharing the results of small and medium-sized banks resolution in developed countries, fintech issues and financial inclusion. The speakers are senior leaders and leading experts of advanced IADI members and members of international organizations such as: IADI's Secretary General, DICJ's Governor, Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation's Chairman and President; senior leaders of Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Financial Stability Institute and Hong Kong Monetary Authority, etc.
In addition, DICJ also chaired a session of Chairperson’s Dialogue: Main Achievements and challenges for Regional Committees only for IADI Members, Associates and Partners. All the Chairmans of 8 IADI Regional Committees shared the achievements, prospects and challenges of each region's deposit insurance systems.
Attending the annual DICJ’s Round Table gives DIV opportunities to receive and exchange new knowledge with financial, banking and deposit insurance experts around the world. It is also a good chance for DIV to promote practical international cooperation with organizations that signed Memoranda of Understanding with DIV as well as develop new relationships with other regional and international organizations.
